I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
